Mira is still discovering who she wants to be. New to "civilized" life, she's observant, adaptive, and deeply intuitive - a dog who will evolve with the right guidance and environment.
Apart from providing love, safety, stability, and a smooth intro into the normal world, her current foster is working on:
• Home-alone training - promising so far
• Recall - getting there
• Trust - selective but fair, both with people and dogs
• Play - hasn't quite grasped toys yet, but we believe she will very, very soon
• Prey drive (cats, birds) - appears high'
• Walks well on leash (stays close), and getting used to city life.
• Kids - Seems unbothered, but given her past experiences with violence, interactions should be introduced slowly and further evaluated.
Mira seems to have clear boundaries and communicates well with other dogs. She doesn’t seek attention but subtly commands it from the little handful that gained her trust. Once she knows you, she becomes quietly devoted - a graceful presence by your side.
She needs more than just a home, she needs a thoughtful companion who will keep her safe, challenged, and included. Someone who values connection, not just ownership.
Mira could thrive with someone who appreciates her sensitivity and intelligence, and who can offer both physical activity and mental engagement.
She has her whole life ahead of her, hopefully 10+ years of love, loyalty, and companionship.
